Kabbalah for Life
How to use
the power and wisdom
of this ancient tradition
Tarot:
Tarot cards are pictorial, symbolic representations of the cycles of time, and the processes we go through in connecting
and interacting with these cycles of time. The Tarot can help us understand our own essential nature,
how we live in cycles within cycles, and how to understand our relationships with other beings, indeed with all life.
No one really knows the origins of the Tarot. There are many different theories as to where Tarot originates,
ranging from ancient Egypt through the Gypsies in the dark ages to Italian card makers in the late 14th century.
In the most pragmatic sense, it doesn't really matter where they come from, what is important is if they work for us today.
Most people's experience is that they do.
The Tarot represents the constantly interacting and revolving wheels of nature, fate and life.
That everything changes is the only certainty in our lives. The Tarot is a sophisticated tool,
not for showing us what will be, but for reflecting on what is and revealing the possibilities of what might be.
Using the Tarot for divination involves a process of self-transformation - we are offered the opportunity to discover
more of who we are. We can then make informed and life-affirming decisions about who we want to become and where we wish to go.
When we use the Tarot for divination we find our lives are not predetermined by outside forces, but that we really can make choices.
designed by Will Parfitt
Will Parfitt has designed and created a full pack of 78 tarot cards
using a mixture of traditional and new symbolism. The tarot pack is called
Parfait Amour because this means Perfect Love and expresses the intention
used in creating the original cards and each individual hand-crafted pack.
The Major Arcana unfold the mysteries of 'the double' for the user, taking
her or him deeply into discovering their own double and through this the
ultimate oneneness behind all duality.
The Court Cards use archetypal imagery to depict the sixteen types within
us all and within the people we meet. The Minor Arcana blend traditional
elemental with beautiful plant imagery.
