Will is such a good writer, well able with each story to conjure up an entire scenario which feels absolutely real. The characters, places and ancedotes were totally convincing, and 'rippled' on long after I'd finished reading the story. Each story can also be read as an allegory, or a 'teaching story' which may offer reflections of the reader's own psyche and life experience. In that sense this is a book of 'folk tales'.
